There were a number of restaurant options available on Davie Street, just a block away, as well as a Shopper's drugstore, convenient for various necessities (We enjoyed Characters Restaurant on Davie).

Robson Street, the main shopping / dining area, was an easy walk of several blocks (Moxie's Classic Grill's second floor terrace offered a varied menu, good food, a great view of the city lights and good people-watching on Robson).

Denman Street, where there also were many restaurants, Maria's Greek restaurant on Denman was very good.

I especially enjoyed the jazz club, O'Doul's Restaurant and Bar, located on Robson Street. It is within walking distance.
