Cross the nearby bridge to Granville Island Market and
try the Clam Chowder at the Oyster bar there. You will not be disappointed!
I stay at the Ramada on Granville because it is walking distance to wherever I
go while in Vancouver. I enjoy wandering in the West End to English Bay and
along Denman to the harbour then downtown and back to the hotel. It also is
close to False Creek, Chinatown and the Granville Market.
Excellent location for Granville Street and downtown and last minute price was
great.
The best thing about this hotel is that it is sandwiched in between a great pub
(try the appies, they're to die for) and the best nightclub in all of Vancouver.
Morrisseys, the pub, has great decor, friendly servers, lots of big screens and
excellent food and drink. Ginger 62, the nightclub is modernly decorated with 3
bars, many private sitting areas, nice sized dance floor and exclusive voyeur
booths for the adventurous type.
Good area of town for going out and checking out the town, on the bus route and
close to Robson St (super shopping zone).
I wanted to stay in the heart of Vancouver and this place could not be any more
central! Right on Granville with tons of great nightlife (and by-the-slice
pizza), it was very convenient for sightseeing.
