Editors Recommendations of the Opus Hotel in Yaletown Vancouver
If you want to stay in a hip, happening, luxury hotel, try the Opus -- in 2005, Condé Nast Traveler voted it one of the world's top 100 hotels. It is in Yaletown, the trendiest area in the city for shopping, nightlife, and dining.

Davie & Robson St. are a short walk away, Yaletown restaurants and shopping are within blocks

Its right in Yaletown, the posh shopping district full of fab shops and restaurants. Coffee shops (yes, Starbucks across street), supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and shop all within 5 mins walking distance. The super-quick Sky Trains aren't too close, but public bus transit is close. Outside of Yaletown, the main Granville/Robson shopping district is about 6-8 blocks away (approx 10-15min walk).

You will enjoy the cool and young Yaletown neighbour. You are also 1 block away from the Marina where you can walk for hours along the water.

The food and breakfast at the restaurant was impeccable. At night the restaurant was turned in to a club that was quite popular and with nice staff. The service is rather good, so I would guess that it is completely worth your while.

I had tickets to the Celine Dion concert at the GM theater which is only a 20 minute walk from the Opus Hotel. And I felt very safe walking back to the hotel after the concert around 11pm.

As for the location! Well, we loved Yaletown. The restaurants were great, the ferry was within walking distance and there were lots of great little boutique shops all around.
