Here are a few tips for having the best stay possible at the Landmark Hotel, I
suggest your print this list out and refer to it during your stay:
Plan to arrive as early as possible to the hotel
If driving to the hotel with a vehicle (auto), park at the front door, speak to
the the bell-man at the bell-desk and then check-in, you can let your car stand
until your receive a parking pass from the desk. Do not leave any valuables in
the car
Ask to have a room away from the elevators, preferably a room ending in 01, 02,
09, 10. Rooms 01 & 10 are the largest on each floor.
There is a revolving restaurant on the 42nd floor, Cloud 9, open from 5-11/12pm.
Go up at 5pm for a cocktail/drink and check out the fine view. Reservations for
dining are recommended
If planning to stay in Vancouver between October and April, the Landmark has the
lowest rates in the city. You can often find a room for $89 sometimes with
breakfast!
Take a bike ride ride around
Stanley Park. I rented from Spokes on West Georgia Street. The rental was
only around $9. If you visit Vancouver and the weather is even okay, take this
bike ride all the way around Stanley Park. (Getting
around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).You will not be disappointed! It is
THE most spectacular bike ride I've ever been on. The ocean views are
spectacular!
The views were incredible! The food at the Cloud 9 Restaurant awesome.
The location is amazing! I could walk to everything I really wanted to see and
do. Restaurants and shopping are all at the doorstep. The view is also
incredible. I was on the 38th floor and it was absolutely breathtaking.
The best is the Hotel Location - turn right for the cool $$$ venues (go to the Hons
Chinese cross the street) - but also walk down the hill to the left to
experience a less touristy area (near Stanley Park).
The Hotel Location was great, we were within walking distance of about five or
six Starbucks! I was set.
