There is plenty of shopping close by on Robson Street and nice eateries, eg. Vinada on Robson, Zefferelli's on Robson, Absolute Sugar at the Harbour Centre, as well as Hamburger Mary's and Cafe Luxy on Davie. If you are looking for souvenirs then try Canadian Crafts on Robson, very helpful staff.

Great cafe close by serving reasonably priced, hearty breakfast - Coco Rico Cafe Bistro, 1290 Robson Street.

We had breakfast every morning at the Granville Island Market-we loved this place! Good coffee, fresh-squeezed juice, and a variety of great baked goods (esp. Terra Bakery), eaten at a table overlooking False Creek-what could be better?

I especially enjoyed the jazz club, O'Doul's Restaurant and Bar, located on Robson Street. It is within walking distance.

Also high on our list is Stanley Park, especially the seawall walk-what a beautiful place!

This hotel is old but the Hotel Location on Robson Street is within walking distance of many good restaurants like the Keg Steak House and Moxie's.
