We spent three nights at this hotel for tourism. Very good location: it is in
the middle of downtown, the busy or touristy areas are a few minutes walk away.
The hotel is made of 3 towers, we stayed in the north tower , which is pretty
cool, tall high rise , all-window wall , good clear view of the city around us.
We had 2 queen beds + 1 crib, the room was fairly large and the beds were very
comfortable. Great service from the staff: smiley and diligent. We will return
there.

I've arrived to the hotel quite early, at 11am,and even though check-in time is
from 3pm,the lovely lady at the reception put me in the room immediately.
I was staying in the North Tower in a king room on the 8th floor. The room was
clean and I loved the layout. I've been staying in quite a few hotels worldwide,
but never ever slept in such a comfortable bed before. I wish I could've taken
it home !
Everything worked perfectly, and the cleaning lady kept my room spotless
throughout my whole stay.
Oh and the Starbucks coffee filter that came with the coffee machine was
brilliant.
I didn't experience anything negative during my stay.
Thank you, Sheraton !

We stayed here to go to a concert at the Commodore Ballroom. It was conveniently
within walking distance of the venue, and of Robson for fun crepe breakfasts.
The hotel was clean, service was great, room was large. The bed was on the
firmer side, but I'm used to latex foam so I'm picky. I think we were put on a
floor that used to be smoking, so the smell would hit me whenever we walked in
the room. But otherwise, it was a good value because we pre-booked on this
website (pre-paid) and got a good deal.

Stayed here two nights. When we arrived the room was muggy and warm, and we
realized that airco didn't function properly. After the technician did not seem
to be able to fix it, we asked for a different room. We received an upgrade to a
wonderful one bedroom suite on the 31st. Very good service,

Overall we had a great experience at the Sheraton Wall Centre. We'll never
forget it because we got engaged! The panoramic view from a free upgraded North
tower king corner room provided the perfect atmosphere for a romantic proposal.
The view is really what made the room - so be sure to book with the hotel to
ensure a room on a higher floor. Also ask for a free Sheraton membership which
is what ended up getting us an upgrade when a more basic room on a high floor
wasn't available upon check-in.
The room was clean and very tastefully decorated with neat exposed floor to
ceiling cement supports. In order to take full advantage of the windows, the
bathroom is very tiny - we couldn't both be in there at the same time, but it
did have a full size tub/shower.
If you're driving be prepared to pay for parking and there is no wireless
internet access! If you want in room access you have to connect with a cable and
pay. Note to Sheraton: Welcome to the 21st Century...even Holiday Inn offers
free wireless!
Staff attitudes were very different depending on who we dealt with. Check-in
staff were fantastic, but staff in the North Tower were not very friendly. We
had the girl who worked at the bar take our picture after we had just gotten
engaged and she hardly even offered us any friendly words which I found odd. The
free spicy nut mix that come with the drinks are totally worth putting up with
not-so-nice staff. Breakfast in the North Tower restaurant was fantastic and
worth the price. From reading other reviews I'm glad we didn't go with the
buffet.
Pool was lovely and quiet when we went. THANK YOU Sheraton for not allowing
children under the age of 16 in the hot tubs. Every hotel needs this policy. Hot
tubs are not meant for horsing around in.
Location of the hotel is very good - right in the heart of Vancouver downtown.
We walked to and from Granville Island where I fully recommend the amazing
Sandbar restaurant.

We stayed four nights in a large room on the 23rd floor of the South Tower. Of
the three full days we spent in Vancouver, one was glorious tourist weather (we
spent it wandering around Stanley Park) but the other two were mostly wet.
Although museums and shopping kept us occupied and relatively dry we were still
grateful for all the space and facilities inside the hotel, which we had great
fun finding our way around.
In particular we enjoyed (1) the free PC internet access set out along the wide
corridor connecting the two towers (Apart from a half hour time limit for any
one session, we didn’t experience any constraints and seldom found all the
terminals occupied by other guests.)
and (2) the bar in the North Tower, which served wine by the glass, had a
relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seats, friendly staff and always provided a
free bowl of nibbles.
We didn’t use the pool, which sounded noisy and crowded each time we walked past
outside.
We had a reasonably quick and painless mid-afternoon check-in experience,
courteous but impersonal.
Our room was roughly triangular in shape with reasonable décor, plenty of
hanging space, hangers, drawers and desktop space. The best part was that the
longest side of the triangle was a wall to ceiling window with a great view over
the city and the sea.
The bathroom was very small but clean, well decorated and had reasonable flat
surface space.
We avoided the hotel eateries after looking at the menu selections and prices.
For breakfast we used the Starbucks outlet on the lower lobby level of the North
Tower. For evening meals there are several good dining experiences to be had
within ten minutes walk of the hotel.

location is perfect. only 1.5 miles from china town, but the walk felt much
shorter because there's so much to see on the way there. #22 bus right outside
the hotel is extremely convenient, too, of course, if you don't feel like
walking. Robson st. just a couple blocks away for fun shopping or people
watching or a hotdog or "japadog" on the street corners. Stanley park also only
@ a mile away and the stroll there thru cute neighborhoods or along beach drive
is very nice. north tower built in '04 or '06 the front desk said and is
supposed to have more modern rooms, but i wanted a room on a high floor to get a
better view and ended up on the 29th floor of the south tower which was totally
fine, too. front desk said south tower was actually refurbished in '07 so it's
just as good. we had a city view which was really nice definitely, but am
excited for our next trip back to ask for a water view for a change. i heard
there was a fee for the gym, but there wasn't, and the gym was very nice. pool
was always full of kids, so didn't use.

We stayed here after a fourteen day cruise . On the day of check out our friend
who had been feeling ill, collapsed in the lobby. The staff was fantastic.
Doorman and front desk both called 911, a banquet manager who was nearby ran to
administer first aid. A concierge desk person got the wheel chair.. Our friend
being taken to St. Paul's hospital, which is directly across the street and
admitted. The front desk staff immediately arranged for a room for the wife, got
her luggage back in the room and without hesitation offered a compassion rate...
Once my husband and myself got to the airport we realized in the excitement we
had left a piece of luggage at the hotel. They immediately found it and had a
taxi bring it to us..
Our friend who had to stay in Vancouver an extra week said the staff looked
after her like family.
I say these experiences speak volumes about the quality of a hotel , more than
views , and fancy amenities can ever do....
