Guest Review of the Best Western Kings Inn Burnaby

I stayed at Best Western Kings Inn once in May, and I would recommend this hotel. The front desk there was helpful and friendly. It didn't take long to check in, and they would help me to find the direction that I wanted. The hotel room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Kings Inn was located on highway I believed, but it's not loud and pretty quite. It's closed to shopping mall and it's in walking distance. I think I will stay at Best Western Kings Inn again in the future.

I am here just to thank for everything you did for us, thank you for the gift prepared for my birthday, small but a big surprise. This adds more happiness to our travel in Canada, we like the sunny smile from the room attendant, the pool is nice if there is less guest in. The room is very clean, specially our toilet, cause i have obsessive, it is a very nice hotel i have been to.

The service was very good - the staff were very helpful and accommodating. And the room was clean and spacious. However, the immediate area around the hotel didn’t seem very touristy. The hotel was in an area of mostly small strip malls and car dealerships - all in all, not very appealing. If you like Asian food (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Shanghai), there is a very good and inexpensive food court specializing in all different types of Asian food at the intersection of Kingsway and McKay, which is about 5-10 minutes drive by car from the Best Western Kings Inn.

Although this hotel was not near many of Vancouver’s hot spots, it was in a convenient location for the purpose of my trip. The hotel was surprisingly comfortable and I wish I knew to expect a pool- which looked very nice. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is about 20 - 30 min. walk to the Metropolis mall. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel and a couple of others near by. In general, the room is clean. it’s ideal if someone plans to rent a car since there is free parking.

I stayed in Burnaby at the Best Western Hotel on business for three nights.

First of all, I thought the hotel was fine and the staff, although I didn't have reason to deal with them much, were helpful when I did.

If you have to stay in Burnaby this is a decent enough place to go to at a reasonable price. However, if you are using it to explore Vancouver I would advise staying closer to town.

It cost around $30 CAD to get into downtown although there is a VERY efficient sky train service nearby which is only about $3 and gets you into the heart of Vancouver in about ten mins. The problem I had was that I was heading out of Vancouver late at night back to my hotel and the sky train stops around midnight so I had to get a cab. But, if you aren't out late then the sky train would still be running.

Burnaby itself has a load of shopping complex's but in terms of nightlife there is next to nothing. Safe enough and nice enough but maybe not a place for tourists?

Nice people, nice rooms, good location: close to sky train and good price for what we get. Delicious breakfast at the nearby adjacent restaurant. It is my third stay there and it is my first choice in the area.
