This is a perfectly suitable hotel, right near Davie Street, Yaletown, and other parts of Granville Island, making it a good choice for those for whom location is the primary draw.

There is nothing particularly fancy about the hotel -- "serviceable" is a good word -- although it's nice that they have an on-site restaurant for breakfast and now have free wireless for hotel guests.

I will definitely consider staying there again.

Hotel was in a happening area and we were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to go to. The hotel cleanliness is acceptable. There was no visible dirt, but it looked very worn. Good place for college kids if you want to go to Vancouver on the cheap, but I wouldn't take a girlfriend there.

I Stayed three nights in this Hotel . It was ok as i was alone , but ... The clerks looks not happy when they see you and do not smile or suggest to help you if you do not ask about requirements by yourself .The ICE Machine on the second floor was a disaster ,and they know about it and do not do anything to resolve it problem. My room was in front of it unfortunately. when I opened the door in the mornings I found lots (I say lots ) of Ice on the ground. Also I thought that the Breakfast was included , but that was my fault (I should make attention). Anyway, staying here for two or three nights is ok , because it's in the heart of downtown , and I never took the transport to visit the city center.

The hotel is in a convenient location to most things in downtown. It is older, dated and one elevator was not working the other busy most of the time. No coffee machines in the rooms. Bathrooms and bedding very clean. The price is right for one night where you just want a place to stay. Free parking is a bonus. Would recommend asking for 4th floor and rooms facing back of hotel to avoid noisy guests from above or road noise from the front.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area and offers free parking with the room. The staff was very polite. That's pretty much it for nice things I can say about the place. The room itself was somewhat dingy, the air conditioner looked like it was from 1970 and didn't work at all (and the windows don't open), and it wasn't the cleanest. I felt uncomfortable using the pillows provided. For the price, given the location, it was probably what can be expected. I don't think I would go back

We've stayed at Bosman's before, and found it fine--great location for the price, comfortable but not luxurious, not kept in perfect repair (e.g the radio alarm wouldn't set properly). This time, however, we had our car--and that meant trouble. The first night we parked on the lower level, took almost everything out, and locked the car. The next day, we found our driver's window broken, and everything gone through--though there wasn't much to take except the parking change, unless they'd gone for the radio, and they didn't. After we got our window replaced, I parked on the upper level, which is better lit and overlooked by windows, and left the car unlocked after taking absolutely everything out. That did the trick; we had no more trouble except that parking on that level is sometimes hard to get, since the lot is open to the public as pay parking. If there are no spaces, you have to lurk and be ready to pounce once someone vacates a space. Only once did I have to wait more than a couple of minutes.
I have a luxury car (a sporty Mercedes) which I know made me a target, though fortunately I think it's just about impossible to steal even if unlocked.

Bosmans wasn't too bad. The price was definitely right compared to everything else. Parking and WiFi were free. But you still get what you pay for. The cleaning ladies were very polite and efficient. The drawbacks are that the hotel felt a little on the dirty side. Not dirty in the real sense. But dirty in the sense of carpet stains in the hallways, ripped wall paper, grubbiness in the tiny cracks between surfaces, etc. The place looks and feels like it's been around a while. The only thing I really didn't like was the WiFi didn't work the first Friday night until the desk clerk reset the system on Saturday morning. And then it went down again on Sunday morning, presumably needing another reset. They do not have a company remotely maintaining the WiFi like most hotels do

Good location, good price. So, so room
Pretty bare bones room, not in great shape. Free parking and within walking distance of many stores and attractions. Ok for price.

Anything under $100 in Vancouver is not going to be on the Rolling Stones’ tour stop. We didn’t get the car broken into, there were no junkies running up and down the halls, they seem to be quite concerned about security...so, all in all, it did the job for us. But if you’re picky or looking for a flat screen TV and a little luxury, get out your wallet and go somewhere else, I guess you get what you pay for.

We had to book this hotel last minute & just for one night. The upside is that it is very economical especially for DT Vancouver. The staff was not too friendly upon check in, but the worst part would probably be finding hair & lint on the bed in room. I think they should definitely focus on the cleanliness of the bedding in the rooms. The hotel needs to replace sheets and pillowcases. There were many signs of wear and tear, such as holes and worn spots. Cotton sheets would be an enormous improvement and would last much longer
