the 2010 Winter Olympics, It will be the main arena for
the Men's and Women's Hockey.

Last Minute Food before the
Game
If you are attending a Game or Event at one of the
Stadiums and are hungry but want something other than
the expensive stadium food. There is a Costco right
there that offers it usually 7 or 8 items that are about a
third of the cost. Another great place is the large
popular Asian market T & T, that sells many to go Asian
specialties. |

Customers must present the actual credit card used to
place the order and photo ID.
General Motors Place is fully wheelchair accessible with
a separate dedicated drive up entrance (located to the
right/north of the main entrance). Wheelchair and
attendant seating is located in the 300 level. There is
an elevator which provides access to all levels.
Wheelchair & Disabled Parking:
Disability parking is available in Lot 315 located off
of Carroll Street, east of General Motors Place and Lot
946, the International Village parking located off of
Keefer Street. We also have disabled parking spaces for
vehicles under 6'6"" high in the underground Lot 987 of
General Motors Place. If you would like to reserve
disabled parking underground, please call our Guests
with Disabilities Hotline at 604.899.7445 for more
information.

Children under 2 years of age are admitted free, but
must not take up a seat.
General Motors Place Seating Capacity:
Just over 21,000 including wheelchair spots.
General Motors Place Seating Layout:
General Motors Place is divided into 4 levels, as
follows;
General Motors Place Floor:
The floor setup for most concerts consists of 42 rows,
divided into 3 sections. Rows 1-21, rows 22-32, rows
33-42. There are 51 seats in each row.
General Motors Place Plaza (100 Level):
There are 22 sections in the Plaza level numbered 101 -
122. There are 25 rows in each section; people walk up
8-9 stairs with a handrail from the concourse and walk
down to rows 1-20 and up to rows 21-25. Each section has
one aisle that runs right down the middle of it.
Standing at concourse level facing the floor at row 20,
the seats to the right are numbered 1-10. The seats to
the left of the aisle are numbered 101-110. Seats 1 and
101 are always the aisle seat. However, Seats 10 and 110
are never aisle seats. The person sitting in section
117, seat 110 is seated right beside the person sitting
in section 118, seat 10.
General Motors Place 200 Level:
Reserved for private and hospitality suites.
General Motors Place Balcony (300 Level):
There are 30 sections in the Balcony level numbered
301-330 Sections 305-326 are in front of the stage.
There are 15 rows in each section; people walk up 8-9
stairs with a handrail from the concourse and walk down
to rows 1-4 and up to rows 5-15. Seating is the same as
100 level.

HOW TO GET TO GENERAL MOTORS PLACE |
Probably the most efficient and economical way to get to
either GM or
BC Place Stadium is by
Skytrain, a light rapid transit system connecting the
cities of Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey
you would exit at the
Stadium
Street Skytrain Station and follow the crowd !
From the Fraser Valley to GM Place
Follow Highway #1 west. Take the 1st Avenue exit and
follow 1st Avenue until you reach Quebec Street. Turn
right on Quebec Street and follow it until the road
forks. Take the left fork onto Expo Blvd. Follow Expo
Blvd to General Motors Place.
From Horseshoe Bay/West Vancouver
Follow Highway #99 south. Take the Taylor Way exit and
follow south. Turn left on Marine Drive. Take exit for
the Lions Gate Bridge and travel through
Stanley Park and follow
Georgia Street through downtown to the GM Place arena.
From Peace Portal Border Crossing
Follow Highway #99 north. Cross over the Oak Street
Bridge and follow Oak Street north until you reach 49th
Avenue. Turn right on 49th Avenue and then turn left
onto Cambie Street. Follow Cambie Street over the Cambie
Street Bridge and take the first exit onto Pacific Blvd,
leading to General Motors Place.
Parking at GM Place
The building is within a 15 minute walk of more than
7,000 parking spots. This includes our own underground
parking Lot 987, entered off Griffiths Way on the west
side of the building. For a full parking map click

During non-event days, all surrounding Impark parking
lots have parking machines except for Lot 315 which is
pay by cell phone only.
Disability parking is available in Lot 315 located off
of Carroll Street, one block East of General Motors
